Critical Care

Practitioners

What are ACCPs?

Advanced Critical Care Practitioners (ACCPs) are professionals responsible for patients’ care during their critical care admission. We are a group of highly experienced practitioners from a variety of backgrounds. We develop our skills and theoretical knowledge to a very high standard, through a combination of faculty of intensive care medicine (FICM) competencies and post graduate masters. We support in high-level clinical decisions, clinical procedures and transfers to ensure that patients receive timely, personal, and effective care.

Critical care is quite a complex environment and as Advanced Critical Care Practitioners our experience within the department allows us to support both nursing and medical staff and to ensure the highest quality of care is given to our patients.
